These are challenging times for us all, in particularly for men. Men are being challenged to make a conscious connection between their head’s and their hearts. They are being asked to face tough questions about what it means, and what it takes, to be a real man. A man that can maintain the strength and power of healthy masculinity and cultivate the power required for a man to become a tender hearted warrior that is willing to serve life with the full force of his loving and a man who will stand shoulder to shoulder with his brothers to do what must be done. We need strong, fierce, mature men that will accept accountability for their actions. Men who will use their masculine virtues to solve the problems that our families and our communities are being confronted with and we need men who are willing to access the full spectrum of their emotions so that they can be kind, nurturing and compassionate.

Yet, where do we as men access support to nurture and develop these qualities? Next Friday evening in Newcastle we are playing a Movie about Men’s Groups. The movie itself will be the catalyst for Men to come together and find some ways in which they can develop and foster their own individual Masculine Essence.
